We were delighted to be selected, alongside Schlumberger, as a performance partner of choice for Egypt’s recent oil and gas digitization journey - and we are happy to report that our first joint project with Egyptian General Petroleum Corp has us off to a flying start. The Egypt Production Digital Centre (EPDC) was inaugurated at a recent event at Petrojet’s headquarters in Cairo. A key enabler in Egypt’s oil and gas modernization programme, the EPDC was a hugely successful project, delivered in a fraction of its original timescale, and has positioned Sensia as both a leader and trustworthy partner for future digital transformation projects within the country. The prestigious event was attended by top leaders from across the Egyptian petroleum industry, with Sensia represented by Sensia’s CEO, Alan Rentcome, Vice President of Digital Automation Solutions and Services, Andrea Monte and Manager PMO, West Hemisphere, Toufik Djeradi. Allan Rentcome, comments: “Egypt’s Oil and Gas operations can be complex. You have 40 JVs and more than 5000 wells. These operations produce a huge amount of data on a daily basis, getting the right data to the right people at the right time is key to gaining critical insights into business performance”. We look forward to future work with the Egyptian Ministry as we continue to bring their digital transformation vision to reality.
